Frequently Asked Questions

EvolveX FAQ

What's the mechanism of action?

The EvolveX device works via radio-frequency waves, a form of ultrasound technology. The machine administers radio-frequency waves to a targeted part of the body causing the fat cells to heat up and die. The cells are then absorbed and cleared by the body and gone. The technology also stimulates collagen production and smoothies the skin. Lastly, the Transform device also provides muscle stimulation to tone the muscle underneath! The area is targeted in 3 ways and that why we get the great results we see.

What does your program include?

Assessment: weight/ measurements/ pictures, lab review, metabolic review.
Medication review
Nutrition evaluation and modification
Activity evaluation
EvolveX treatment

Do the Evolve X treatments hurt?

No. The Tite and Tone devices only apply heat to the skin and the transform unit applies heat and muscle stimulation (the feeling of a tens unit from physical therapy). The settings are customized for each patient and session and are adjusted throughout the treatment to get the best results with no discomfort.

What kind of diet is included in the program?

Given my medical and nutritional background, I'm not a fan of fad diets. My program facilitates conscious, healthy and practical eating guidelines based on each individuals needs, schedule and preferences. Every person is given custom nutrition guidance weekly based on their progress. macronutrient logs, and lifestyle.

How quickly will I start noticing results?

Skin texture changes reduction of cellulite and wrinkles is seen quickest and the reduction of
subcutaneous fat and muscle sculpting follow based on your body's remodeling ability. On average, changes seen after 2 sessions and on average 1 cm per treatment, depending on the area.

How long is each treatment?

The plan consists of at least 12 weekly meetings of 1 hour, per area treated. The hour is divided into taking objective measurements, reviewing and adjusting the diet, fitness, metabolic plan, and EvolveX treatment (> 30 minutes).

How long will results last?

Weight loss results last as long as you follow a healthy nutrition and exercise plan. The EvolveX results are also dependent on the above. Once the fat cells are killed, they are gone forever, but you can make more fat cells if you eat indiscriminately and don't exercise.

Do l have to exercise when I use this?

Best results on my program are obtained if you are consistent with exercise, diet, metabolic and hormonal balance and the EvolveX treatments. If all components are mastered, incredible results follow!

How often should treatment be done.

EvolveX radio-frequency treatments are recommended to be done weekly for at least 12 weeks to a specific area for significant results. Some areas require more or less treatments depending on the desired results and amount of adipose tissue, skin laxity, and muscle tone. The beauty of the treatments is that they continue to remodel the area even after the treatment period.

Does the treatment cause stretch marks?

Exactly the opposite.. the treatments stimulate skin collagen and reduce the size and appearance of stretch marks and cellulite.

Will longer sessions have a better impact?

Each EvolveX session is 30-40minutes .. however, as most of my patients will tell you, I maximize the settings to get the most out of every minute of every session and treatment times of greater than 30 minutes become more difficult to tolerate. There is no pain, rather the prolonged heat and contractions do cause
"fatigue".

Can I exercise the same day as my treatments or should I limit physical strain?

There is no down time after the treatments so you can carry on activity as usual. However. I recommend exercising different muscle groups than those treated for that day since those muscles already were "worked out". A 30 minute ab or glut session is equivalent to 28,000 crunches/ squats.

EmFace FAQ

What do EmFace treatments do?

1. Prevent and reduces facial sagging.

2. Maintains a youthful look and a lifted face.

3. Repairs the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin.

How many sessions are recommended and how are they spaced out?

A full treatment regimen is 4-6 treatments, based on your need. Treatments should be once per week and then maintenance can be done quarterly or based on desired result.

How long does each session take?

Each session takes 20 minutes. No downtime. You can proceed with normal health skincare routine and activity immediately after.

Can you do this procedure if you have had Botox or fillers?

Yes, it is recommended to wait 2 weeks after Botox or other toxins and 2 months after filler.

Is it used to lift neck/below chin? Or just the face?

The treatments are done to the forehead and/ or the cheeks. By stimulating the facial "lifter"

muscles (frontalis, glabellar, zygomaticus minor and major, risorius) you physiologically lift the

face and naturally lift the chin and neck as well.

Does the treatment hurt?

No, there is absolutely no pain. The patient just feels heat and contractions of the cheeks (smile) and forehead (eyebrow lift). We do not break skin and no numbing is necessary.

Can you do this if you have a beard?

Because the applicators have to make direct contact with skin to heat the tissue and stimulate the

muscles, you need to clean skin contact (no beard, no makeup, no lotion). If you want to keep your

beard, you can still get lift by treating the forehead area only.

When do people start seeing an improvement?

Patients see improvement following the first treatment though best results are seen 4 weeks after 4th session. Skin smoothing and fine line reduction, tissue plumping, and

face lifting all seen more and more after each session.
